Kale and Apple Salad:
Healthy recipes are very useful at home. This kale and apple salad is the favourite salad in our house, my three years old loves it as well as I do, I could have it every day. Highly nutritious and way more yummy that you may imagine!!
Try it for yourself!!!!
1 bunch of organic crispy Kale (Chopped and stalks removed)
1 diced organic apple ( gala is best but if you do not want too sweet granny smith is perfect)
1/4 cup of sultanas or raisins
1/2 cup of chopped walnuts ( I have used roasted pistachio once and i loved )
Juice of 1 lemon
2 tbs of olive oil
1 tbs of raw honey
Whisk all ingredients from dressing together then pour into the chopped kale.
The secret of this salad is that the kale needs to be massaged with the dressing before tossing the remaining ingredients. After the kale is soft toss the remaining ingredients for the salad and enjoy it :)))
